Ever since I heard about this market (it’s very well-reviewed), I have been dying to go! I don’t consider myself a foodie (I’m not cool enough for that title), but I definitely love food. Since I have no classes on Wednesday, a few of us decided to treat ourselves to a lengthy lunch at Borough Market!

Cured Meats and Cheeses
Tried some of the best truffle cheese here!
Bread and Pastries
Food Stalls
Thai curries stewing in paella pans.
Thai coconut pancakes. They were surprisingly divine!
Assorted olives stand
A Scotch egg: a soft boiled egg surrounded by meat, then breaded and deep fried
Burgers made with sausage patties from Boston. Came all the way to the UK just to find more American goodies!
Fried potato dough
Fresh Produce
You can definitely buy fresh truffles from Italy here. The selection of produce is not as exotic is that in Harrod’s, but it is still fun to look around.
Fresh flowers
Red currants for sale
Specialty truffle stall in the produce section. It has the best truffle oil I ever had!
Fresh Seafood
Apparently, one of the best stalls in the Market! Almost all reviews point to this one stall!
Fresh squid
Fresh Meats
![One of the most interesting stalls I ever seen. It's a hunting/gaming stall with freshly killed wild animals from Scotland.](https://selenestudiesabroad.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/meat-1.jpg?w=640&h=426)
One of the most interesting stalls I have ever seen. It’s a hunting/gaming stall with freshly killed wild animals from Scotland. Pheasants and rabbits are seen hanging from the rafters. I guess this was what a stall looked like back then.
Fresh sausages
WOW WOW WOW! I hope you tried all of the cheeses! great pics, my mouth is watering!
